This course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage supply chain operations within an organization. It covers the planning, coordination, and control of activities involved in sourcing, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of goods and services.
Learners will explore supply chain concepts, operational processes, performance measurement, risk management, and continuous improvement strategies. The course emphasizes practical approaches to optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth flow of materials and information across the supply chain network.
This course equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to effectively plan, acquire, allocate, utilize, monitor, and control departmental resources. It covers the management of human, financial, physical, and material resources to ensure efficient departmental operations and achievement of organizational objectives. Learners will develop competencies in resource planning, budgeting, inventory management, maintenance of departmental assets, performance monitoring, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be able to manage departmental resources efficiently, promote accountability, and optimize resource utilization to improve productivity and service delivery.
